PS Groovy is the place to relax, unwind and enjoy all the city has to offer.
From the breeze block entry off the covered detached 2-car carport, the home opens up to an ideal floor plan with open living space to the left and the front of the home where the Primary Suite and 2 guest bedrooms are well separated. The detached casita is its own Suite with ensuite bath and retreat with a wall of glass overlooking the pool and outside entertaining area. Totaling 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, PS Groovy offers a generous 2,400 square feet of Mid-Century Modern style and indoor/outdoor entertaining.
Off the front entry, the living spaces include a well-stocked granite island kitchen with bar stool seating and an open informal dining and living room area with clerestory windows and tongue and groove ceilings that accentuate the homes Mid-Century roots. The living room also features a gas brick fireplace, generous seating and large flat-screen smart TV with Direct TV satellite cable. The main house has beautiful Terrazzo floors throughout and all of the bathrooms are shower and tub combinations. The Primary Suite and Casita offer king size beds; the two guest bedrooms are queen size beds. All of the bedrooms have their own flat screen TVs with cable access.
Outside, PS Groovy's large entertaining backyard offers unobstructed views of the mountains, a large pool (pool heat is an optional/additional charge. See house rules for additional information), in-ground spa, gas fire pit with seating for four and raised outdoor dining area that seats up to 8 people. The 19th hole putting green is unique to this home allowing guests to brush up on their skills before hitting one of the gorgeous nearby public courses.
This beautiful vacation rental is a short drive to downtown Palm Springs with its many bars, shops, restaurants, and art galleries and even closer to the boutique shops and restaurants of the Uptown Design District. Other Palm Springs attractions are similarly a short drive away - from area casinos to world renowned spa resorts, tennis, golfing, museums and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.
Racquet Club Estates is a premier neighborhood of Palm Springs. The neighborhood is rich with architecture and history. It should be noted the city has sound ordinances that are strictly enforced. The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” home.
